Master Tub & Shower Transformation in Waukesha
S&K Remodeling completed a full bathroom remodel for a Waukesha homeowner looking to update their dated 1970s master bath. The original space had outdated wallpaper, a large wall-to-wall mirror, an unused makeup vanity and no GFCI protection. The modular shower and shallow bathtub were no longer functional, and replacement parts for the tub valve were unavailable.
Our crew stripped out the wallpaper and flooring, removed the modular shower, shower door, outdated lighting, tub, vanities, countertops and tub deck. We updated the electrical to the current code and added plumbing to support a second lavatory sink.
The new design features Holiday Harrisburg Square cherry cabinets in a rich Fireside finish, complete with matching framed mirrors. The vanity is topped with Giallo Napoleon granite, and the custom shower includes Lidra Matt tile walls, a stone mosaic tile floor, dual shampoo niches and Murcia Stone listello and accent pencils. A 3/8” frameless glass enclosure and coordinating tub deck tile bring the entire space together.
The floor was redone in diagonally set 13" x 13" stone tile. We installed new Kohler fixtures, including a Devonshire soaking tub, Caxton undermount sinks and a Wellworth toilet, all paired with oil-rubbed bronze Hansgrohe Swing C faucets and trims. New sconce lights, recessed cans, updated exhaust fans and Brantford oil-rubbed bronze accessories added the finishing touches.
The result is a standout example of bathroom remodeling in Waukesha, WI—so impressive, the homeowner joked about hosting a Christmas party in the bathroom. Instead, she hired us to continue the upgrades on the main floor, removing wallpaper, repairing drywall, updating the powder room and painting the stairway, foyer and dining room. Her home now blends updated style with warm, inviting character throughout.
