Sometimes an S&K Remodeling project involves no plumbing at all! S & K recently updated the house of Allen and Sharon Schickowski in Waukesha. They have lived in their home over 30 years. After raising their children, some of the woodwork in the house had seen better days. We removed all of the doors from the bedrooms, closets and basement. We also removed the base, casing, shoe and chair rail throughout the house.
We installed oak 6-panel prefinished doors throughout the home with Shlage, brushed nickel door hardware. We installed prefinished Colonial oak casings, base and oak chair rail. They completed the remodel with new carpeting.
We remodeled their 1970’s bathroom earlier this year, making it more user friendly, accessible and modern. We relocated the bathtub, removed a window and second entry door and installed a Lasco, modular tub/shower with built-in grab bars. The fixtues were Kohler Forte, in brushed nickel. The water closet was replaced with a Kohler Cimarron comfort height water closet and Cachet soft-close seat in white. The remodel also included new American Olean bathroom floor tile, Countryside, Oak vanity, Swanstone vanity top and Creative Specialties towel bars, tissue paper holder and towel ring.
The homeowner’s comments included “Everyone did a great job. My house looks like a brand new home, Thank You!”
