Updated Brookfield Bathroom
S & K was called to upgrade this Brookfield customer’s 1970's bathroom and make it safer for its aging homeowners. S & K removed the bathtub and made it a shower, with a bench seat. We removed the vanity and tile countertop, water closet, tile floor and tub surround.
The bathroom has a totally updated look, with new tiled shower, Comfort Height Kohler Cimarron water closet, Countryside Maple vanity with a Zodiac Eco quartz vanity top and undermount Kohler Caxton lavatory sink. Kohler Forte faucets and valve trims were chosen for their transitional appearance to blend the older home with the new styles.
We installed Creative Specialty grab bars in the shower for additional safety and a Kohler Eva towel bar and tissue paper holder. For extra convenience, we also installed a handshower on a slide bar by the shower seat. The project was completed with a custom, semi-frameless shower door with rain glass for privacy.
Finally, we updated the electrical outlets, wiring and lighting.
