Sussex Underground Leak

Sussex Underground Leak
When these long-time S&K well pump customers noticed a leaking air volume control at their Sussex home's pressure tank, they called for one of our Brookfield well pump service techs to take care of it.  Our tech replaced the air volume control and pressure gauge and started the pump system to verify proper operation.  The parts installed functioned but he determined that the system was leaking underground between the well casing and the home.  Knowing that in order to repair the leak, digging with a backhoe would be needed, the S&K well pump specialist gathered the necessary information so that we could contact Diggers Hotline and have the property staked for potential utility lines before the excavation was made.  As the customers noted, the men were able to repair the underground leak without disturbing the their brick patio.  The old leaking galvanized pipe was removed and new high density polyethylene (plastic) pipe was installed.
